Register for West U Rec Center Classes, Residents Get Priority

The West University Parks and Recreation Department is dedicated to serving the community by providing quality programs and activities for all ages,interests and levels. With the end of the fall season just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking of what you will do next season. Start the 2014 year off right and plan your classes in advance by logging on to www.westutx.gov/parks to view the West U at Your Leisure, Winter/Spring edition.

Priority Registration is available beginning Tuesday, December 3 through Monday, December 9, 2013. Participants who are eligible to register during priority registration are those that are currently enrolled in the same type class within the past 30 days. Priority Registration is available in-person at the West University Recreation Center located at 4210 Bellaire Blvd. during normal business hours. The Recreation Center hours are Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Please note that online registration is unavailable for priority registration.

If you are interested in enrolling in a new class or program, and you are a resident of West University Place then registration begins on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Recreation Center or online at www.westutx.gov/reg. For Non-Residents, registration begins on Thursday, December 12, 2013 both at the Recreation Center and online.

For online registration, follow these instructions:

1. Visit the West U website at www.westutx.gov/reg
2. To register online, a user name and password is necessary. If you do not already have a user name and password, please allow 3 – 5 business days to receive this information once the account has been created.
3. Choose your activity and click to register.
4. Complete registration, pay with a credit card and receive an instant e-mail confirmation of your enrollment.
