“West University Place’s newly-elected City Council chose Councilwoman Susan Sample as the new mayor pro tem on Monday.
Mayor Bob Fry said he wanted to select the mayor pro tem the same way West U city councils had in the past – the position goes to the council member who won the most votes.
‘I believe the position should go to Susan (Sample), ‘he said of the councilwoman who won 1,111 votes in the election in May.”

Won’t Bob Kelly automatically be Mayor Pro Tem with the most votes for city council?
