Busy Crime Day…Three Burglaries, One Auto Theft

Burglary of motor vehicle
An officer was dispatched to 4210 Bellaire in reference to a lapsed burglary of a motor vehicle. The officer contacted the victim who reported their vehicle had been entered unlawfully with force and personal items were missing. The item reported missing in the burglary was a man’s wallet.

Auto Theft 
An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Recreation Center in reference to an auto theft. The officer arrived and met with the victim who stated that sometime between 5:05pm and 7:27pm an unknown suspect(s) took his vehicle without his effective consent. The officer collected information for a report and entered the vehicle as stolen into NCIC.

Burglary of motor vehicle
An officer was dispatched to the business complex at 5600 Kirby in reference to a burglary of motor vehicle delayed report. Upon arrival, it was discovered that two vehicles had been burglarized. In this case, the unknown suspects forced entry through the front passenger side window and attempted to remove a black bag. No items reported stolen at time of report.

An officer was dispatched to 5600 Kirby in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle. The officer contacted the victim who reported their vehicle had been entered unlawfully with force. The victim reported that personal items had been rummage through but that no items could be found missing at this time.
