Identity Theft
At 1:26 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the West U Police station in regard to an identification theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who stated that an unknown suspect(s) used her personal information to generate fictitious rental contacts for a residential property the complainant owns.

Driving while license suspended
At 10:20pm, officers, conducted a traffic investigation in the 3600 block of West Holcombe for defective license plate lights. During the course of the investigation officers learned the driver was operating an uninsured vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The driver was taken into custody and booked accordingly.

Burglary of habitation
At 1:11 am, an officer saw a subject run from an open garage that faces the 5700 block of Belmont, and enter an awaiting vehicle in the driver’s seat in that block. It was later discovered that the subject had no permission to be in the garage. The subject and another individual, who was waiting for him in the vehicle, were arrested for burglary of a habitation.
