Heavy rain and thunderstorms that started midday have caused Harris County to issue a flash flood watch through tonight.
In addition to rapid street flooding and hazardous road conditions, the storms are capable of damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes, according to meteorologists, and they could last through tomorrow morning.
