Slow Crime Week-End: One Drug Arrest

Warrant Arrest
At 1:34 am, an officer met with a Bellaire Police Department Officer, in the 4100 block of Bellaire, who had a subject detained with warrants out of the City of West University Place. The subject was taken into custody, transported, and booked at the West University Place jail, on those warrants, without incident.

Possession of Narcotics
At 8:42 A.M., an officer observed a vehicle traveling with no front license plate and expired registration (07/13) in the 5200 block of Kirby. The Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver was in possession of an illegal drug. The driver was arrested and charged with the offense of Possession of Marijuana under 2 ounces.
