Once again, with all the money being collected from the Seniors (for using the Rec Center), and for all the money spent on “consultants” for answers to common sense issues, why not supply WUPD with a K-9 officer? As stated previously, dogs cannot be accused of racial profiling.

I can’t remember when West U was ever a “Mayberry”. There is no suggestion that West U needs their own police dogs any more than they need their own helicopters. I lived on a corner lot on College many years ago when bank robbers were driving on College through West U with an officer following. When they got to the Weslayan shopping center, they exited their car and one ran into the apartments that were there at the time and the other ran into one of the stores. There were gunshots and then police helicopters were flying over West U looking for another individual. I would guess that a Houston Police Department provided a police dog to find the person who was hiding in one of the apartments. It is necessary that the police share resources. I really wonder about some of the comments posted here. May you all have a happy and safe holiday.

Those that cannot appreciate sarcasm and the humor intended by my postings really crack me up! Make my day.

Merry Christmas to you all and God Bless America, Uncle Mil
