Wrong-Way Driver Arrested for Drug Paraphernalia and Open Booze

Driving While License Suspended
At 9:22 p.m. An officer observed a speeding automobile in the 5700 block of Buffalo Speedway, traveling at 49 mph in a 30 mph zone. A traffic stop was conducted. The driver was identified and arrested for driving while license suspended, due to an ineligible driving status with active suspensions.

11/03/13
Traffic Violation/Open Container/Drug Paraphernalia
At 9:43 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Amherst for driving on the wrong side of the roadway. During the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and open alcohol container. The driver was cited for drug paraphernalia, open container, and traffic offenses.

Minor Accident/ Failure to stop and give information
At 12:05am, an officer responded to a minor accident/failure to stop and give information incident in the 4100 block of Oberlin.

Driving while license suspended
At 11:36am, an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound with expired inspection in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway. The officer initiated a traffic stop in the 6100 block of Buffalo Speedway on the vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver was driving on a suspended license. The driver was arrested and charged with the offense of driving while license invalid.

Driving while license suspended
At 1:17 pm, an officer observed a door vehicle conduct a right hand turn eastbound from the 6300 block of Annapolis northbound into the 2600 block of University Blvd without signaling. A traffic stop was conducted in the 2500 block of Times Blvd and after further investigation the driver was arrested for the offense of driving while license invalid.

Identity Theft
An officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department located at 3800 University for a report of identity theft. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the victim who stated that an unknown person(s) used her personal information to open an account with Comcast. The victim was made aware of this when she received a phone call from Comcast notifying her of an outstanding debt.

Burglary of motor vehicle
At 8:09 am, an officer was dispatched to the West U cleaners parking lot located at 3920 Bellaire in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the victim who stated that an unknown person(s) smashed into the driver side window of her vehicle and took her purse containing valuable items without her consent while she was inside this business establishment.

Domestic Disturbance
At 8:32 am, an officer was dispatched to the 3900 block of Villanova in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress.
