Wednesday’s Crime: Drugs, Threat And A Broken Window

Possession of Narcotics

An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6600 block of Buffalo Speedway for several equipment violations. During the course of the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver was in possession of marijuana. The driver was arrested.

Terroristic Threats         

An officer met a complainant at the West University Place Police Department in reference to a phone call she received threatening her life.

Police Information

Officers responded to a residence in the 2800 block of Nottingham in regards to a home burglar alarm being activated. There were no signs of forced entry. However, the officer discovered signs of suspicious activity around the home.

Criminal Mischief 

An officer responded to the 5600 block of Kirby to meet with a complainant who advised that the driver’s side window of her vehicle has been broken.

Driving While Intoxicated         

An officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Kirby at a high rate of speed. Upon making a traffic stop, the driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for the offense.
