West U to Host Presentation on Frauds, Scams during National Consumer Protection Week
The City of West U is joining with federal, state, and local government agencies and national organizations to celebrate the 14th annual National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) March 4-10.
During NCPW, groups nationwide share tips and information that help consumers protect their privacy, manage money and debt, avoid identity theft, and avoid frauds and scams.
West U will host a presentation from Postal Inspector Anthony Tomasino on Tuesday, March 6 at 8:30 a.m. and again on Wednesday, March 7 at 10:30 a.m. He will speak on the topics of lotteries, frauds, scams and counterfeit checks. Both presentations will be held at 6104 Auden.
