West U Theft of Identity and Merchandise

Identity Theft
At 10:44 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department in regards to an identification theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, the officer met with the victim who stated that an unknown person(s) used her personal information to open a bank account without her consent.

At 9:44 am, an officer was dispatch to the 4000 block of Bellaire in regard to a theft that occurred on 11/20/13. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who stated that an unknown person came into the business at 12:15 p.m., later leaving the business with stolen merchandise.
