West U Residents Report Vehicle Vandalism, Theft

On June 13, someone made large tears in the soft top fabric of a Jeep around 5:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Villanova.

On June 15, two DVD monitors were stolen from a vehicle at 8:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of Tangley.

On June 16, West U police found a boy’s bicycle on the sidewalk near the 6000 block of Mercer at Georgetown. The bicycle was not stolen and the officer took it to the police station.

On June 17, someone damaged a garage door at 9:13 a.m. in the 2800 block of Pittsburg. Someone tried to pry the door open from the outside and bent it so it was no longer working properly.

On June 17, someone put white paint on a vehicle parked outside of a home at 10:56 p.m. in the 4100 block of Rice.

On June 17, someone threw a rock through a windshield of a vehicle at 7:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of University.

On June 19, a vehicle was broken into in the 6400 block of Wakeforest. The vehicle was not locked.
