West U Residents Report Burglaries Of Motor Vehicles, Dog Bites To Police

These incidents were reported to the West U Police Department from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3:

On Aug. 30, an unknown person used a resident’s credit card to make several purchases.

On Aug. 31, a resident was bitten by a small black dog that was being walked by a 15-year-old male in the 6500 block of Mercer.

On Sept. 1, a vehicle was broken into in the 3100 block of Bissonnet.

On Sept. 2, an unknown person stole cash and credit cards from a vehicle in the 4200 block of Emory.

On Sept. 2, a briefcase was stolen from a vehicle in the 3800 block of Bellaire.

On Sept. 3, an unknown person tried to use a fake driver’s license to cash a check at a bank in the 4000 block of Bellaire.

On Sept. 3, a resident found a bicycle lying on the sidewalk in the 3700 block of Sunset. The bicycle is a red and white Aero mountain bike and is being held at the West U Police Department.
