West U Receives 2012 Taxable Value of $4,212,105,742

The Harris County Appraisal District has appraised the certified taxable value for the City of West U, which will be used for the 2013 budget process.

HCAD appraised the 2012 taxable value of West U at $4,212,105,742, which compares to $4,059,719,596 in 2011, or a 3.75 percent increase in total taxable value for the city.

The City of Southside Place received a taxable value of $514,155,371 in 2012 compared to $498,919,811 in 2011, or a 3.05 percent increase.

The City of Bellaire received a taxable value of $3,337,676,009 in 2012 compared to $3,231,160,687 in 2011, or a 3.30 percent increase.

The City of Houston received a taxable value of $146,459,376,692 in 2012 compared to $143,919,538,603 in 2011, or a 1.76 percent increase.

The Houston Independent School District received a taxable value of $108,610,868,143 in 2012 compared to $105,871,755,500 in 2011, or a 2.59 percent increase.

Harris County received a taxable value of $279,907,852,876 in 2012 compared to $275,559,431,609 in 2011, or a 1.58 percent increase.
