West U Police Make Arrests For Outstanding Warrants

West U Police picked up a 39-year-old Houston resident from the Houston Police Department for outstanding warrants.

Iris Tyler was arrested on July 25 for two outstanding warrants with West University Place.

Tyler’s warrants were for failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear, police said.

Tyler’s bond was posted and she was released.

On July 28, Jeffrey Boney, a 36-year-old Missouri City resident, was arrested for two outstanding warrants with West University Place.

Boney’s warrants were for failure to appear and an expired inspection, police said.

Boney posted a cash bond and was released.

On July 28, Kirubel Tafesse, a 29-year-old Houston resident was arrested for two outstanding capias warrants with West U. A capias warrant is a warrant where the suspect is found guilty and failed to pay the fine.

Tafesse’s warrants were for failure to appear and speeding, police said.

He paid his bond and was released.
