West U Police Investigating Break-In At My Fit Foods

Computer equipment was stolen from My Fit Foods on Sept. 8.

West U police are investigating a break-in at My Fit Foods, 5410 Kirby, which occurred on Sept. 8.

Police responded to an alarm around 4:12 a.m. and found that someone had forced entry into the business and stole computer equipment.

Officers searched the scene but no suspects were located.

On Sept. 9, a resident found a radar detector in the front yard of his home in the 2800 block of Tangley.

The resident’s vehicle was broken into on Sept. 9 and he was doing a search of his property, police said.

The unknown suspect stole a pocket knife, a phone charger and a radar detector from the man’s vehicle as well as $30 and spare change.

The man found everything but the money in his neighbor’s front lawn, including a radar detector that did not belong to him.

Police took possession of the unclaimed radar detector.
