West U Plants ‘Living Christmas Tree’ at Friends Park

The City of West U planted a “living Christmas tree” at Friends Park on Tuesday, Oct. 30.

The city planted a “living Christmas tree” at Friends Park on Tuesday.

The tree is an Eastern Red Cedar and will be used for the upcoming tree lighting event on Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The tree has found a new home in Friends Park. It was recently moved from the West U Recreation Center. It was first planted at city hall before the building underwent renovations.
