Tonight: Final Dive-In Movie at Colonial Pool

August 23, 2013

West U families are invited to Colonial Park Pool for the final Dive-In Movie of the season. The movie was rained out last week and has been rescheduled.

The city will show the movie, Jack the Giant Slayer (PG-13, may be inappropriate for children under 13) on Friday, Aug. 23 from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

In Jack the Giant Slayer, an ancient war between humans and a race of giants is reignited when Jack, a young farmhand fighting for a kingdom and the love of a princess, opens a gateway between the two worlds.

The movie will start at sundown shortly after 7:30 p.m. A large inflatable screen will be set up at Colonial Park Pool, located at 4130 Byron Street.

Residents are invited to bring their swim suits and towels for a fun evening watching the movie from the pool. Admission to view the movie is complimentary, however, to swim, daily admission prices do apply.

Food and drinks as well as popcorn will be available for purchase at Prince’s concession stand.
