West U Crime Report

On November 22, an officer saw a vehicle driving without lights in the 3200 block of Rice Blvd. The car was stopped in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway and it was determined that the driver was drunk. The driver was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and booked into the West University jail.

On November 23, police officers went to the 2800 block of Plumb for a domestic violence call. They arrived and spoke with both parties and upon further investigation one subject was arrested for Class C Assault.

On November 23, police officers went to the 3100 block of Rice because of a suspicious person. The officers made contact with the subject in the 5900 block of Buffalo Speedway. The officers discovered that the subject was intoxicated and was arrested for the offense of public intoxication. The subject was then transported the West University jail facility where he was booked and processed without incident

At 2:26pm on November 24, a police officer was dispatched to the West University Place Police Department, located at 3800 University Blvd, in regards to an assault that had already occurred. The victim stated and unknown male assaulted him after their vehicles were involved in a minor accident.
