West U Crime: Morning Stroll Leads to Car Break-In

Burglary of a Motor Vehicle 

At approximately 8:04 am, an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of Georgetown in regards do a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. The victim stated she went for a morning walk and when she returned, she found her car door unlocked, an unknown person forced entry into her vehicle and took her personal property. Officers observed the driver’s door lock had been popped in and determined that an unknown person entered the vehicle without the owner’s consent. No suspects were located at this time.
