Crime Report: Window of West U Home Shot Out with Pellet Gun

Identity Theft 

An officer was dispatched to the 6400 block of Virginia Ct. in reference to identity theft. The victim stated that an unknown person, attempted to open a credit account in her name.


Suspicious Person 

At 6:42 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Bellaire in reference to a person who appeared to be lost. The officer located and met with the person. That person was transported to the hospital.


Assault – Family Violence 

At 11:17 a.m., an officer was dispatched to WUPD to meet with a complainant in reference to an assault. The complainant advised she was assaulted by a family member during an argument.


Suspicious Vehicle 

At 11:17 a.m., an officer was patrolling in the 5400 block of Rutgers when he observed a suspicious truck loaded with appliances. The truck was parked in the driveway of a home that is set to be demolished. The officers located a male suspect inside the garage of the home. Through further investigation, the officer discovered the suspect had a felony warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.


Criminal Mischief 

At 1:57 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Wroxton in reference to criminal mischief. The resident stated that someone shot out his home window with a pellet gun.
