Weekend Crime Report: Police Called to Investigate Screaming, Loud Voices on Case
An officer was dispatched to the WUPD for a report of theft. The officer met with the complainant who stated she left a laundry bag containing multiple clothing items on her front door step for master dry cleaning to pick up. An employee with master dry cleaning notified the complainant that her laundry bag was not on her front door step and was nowhere to be found.
Possession of Narcotic
At 1:34 am, an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 5500 block of Buffalo Speedway with a defective rear license plate light. A traffic stop was conducted in the 5100 block of Buffalo Speedway and after further investigation the driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
At 4:44 am, an officer was dispatched to 1201 Commerce, The Harris County IPC, in reference to an individual with two outstanding warrants with The City of West U. The individual was taken into custody and transported to the West U jail for booking without incident.
An officer was dispatched to WUPD to meet with the reportee concerning a theft that had already occurred. Upon arrival the officer met with the reportee and was advised of the theft of bicycles from his residence. The officer obtained the information available and provided the reportee with the case number assigned to the incident.
At 11:49 pm, an officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound in the 5500 block of Buffalo Speedway with a defective rear license plate light. A traffic stop was conducted in the 3100 block of Albans and after further investigation the driver was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon.
At 2:52 am, officers were dispatched the 4200 block of Case, in reference to a disturbance. Dispatch advised that the reportee stated that they could hear loud voices and screaming outside in the street. Officers arrived and after their investigation a suspect was arrested for public intoxication.
