Thieves are Christmas Shopping: Packages Stolen from West U Homes
An officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Pittsburg concerning the theft of credit cards and their use at a local department store. The officer met with the reportee and obtained the information available concerning the theft. The reportee was provided the case number assigned to this incident.
An officer was dispatched to the WUPD lobby in reference to a theft. The officer was advised between 5:00pm and 7:00pm on the 12th of December packages were taken from the residence located in 3100 block of Robinhood. It was also reported to the victim and to the police department two empty boxes were found in the 3400 block of Amherst and in the 2700 block of Albans. No other items have been recovered at this time.
Minor Accident/Failure to stop and give information
At 9:45 pm, officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Cason in reference to a SUV traveling eastbound struck two vehicles and had fled the scene. Upon the officer’s arrival the suspect was located in the 2500 block of Cason and after further investigation the driver was arrested for fail to stop and give information.
