Southside Place City Council Meeting Tonight
The 2008 preliminary property tax values for Southside Place will be presented to the Southside Place City Council at tonight’s meeting. The preliminary values are a part of the city manager’s report, which includes updates on waterline projects, construction and the 2009 council budget survey. Council will meet at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 6309 Edloe.
Also on the agenda is a proclamation recognizing Robert Marvin and Amy Marvin for “outstanding service to the community.”
New business includes discussion and possible action on the approval of an interlocal agreement between Harris County and the City of Southside Place for inspection and permit services of food establishments, discussion and possible action on approval of Claunch & Miller proposal for design and construction of wastewater treatment plant improvements, utilizing 2007 certificates of obligation, and discussion and possible action on approval of the water and wastewater cost of service and rate design study.
Council might also meet in closed session to discuss the construction of a new municipal complex at the corner of University Boulevard and Edloe.
