Prince’s to Cater West U Candidate Forum
West U’s newest concessionaire will be catering the upcoming West U City Council candidate forum, hosted by InstantNewsWestU.com.
The event will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Building, 6104 Auden. Participants will have a chance to get to know their council candidates and enjoy fare from Prince’s Hamburgers.
“It is our honor to be a part of this community event,” said John Broussard, owner of Prince’s Hamburgers.
Prince’s was recently selected as the city’s concessionaire at Colonial Park Pool.
West U residents are invited to attend the public candidate forum on April 23.
Five residents are vying for four city council seats. Mayor Pro Tem Susan Sample, Councilman Dick Yehle, Councilwoman Joan Johnson and Councilman Ed Heathcott are all running for re-election. Friends of West U Parks Board Member Sonny Brandtner is making his first run for city council.
The forum provides residents with an opportunity to hear the candidates’ stance on important issues facing the city. The forum also provides a public setting for residents to meet and socialize with their council candidates.
InstantNewsNetwork Managing Partner George Boehme will be the moderator for the forum.
“I look forward to the opportunity to host a forum in which my neighbors can come out and meet the candidates asking for their vote,” said Boehme. “I am also very grateful to Prince’s Hamburgers for catering this event. I encourage residents to come out, meet your candidates and enjoy the food from West U’s concessionaire.”
