Pot, Drunk, Broken Windows, Other West U Crimes
An officer observed a vehicle traveling with a broken brake light. The vehicle also failed to stop at a stop sign. The officer initiated a traffic stop in the 6500 block of Brompton. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver did not have a driver’s license or insurance, and had warrants from Houston PD. The driver was arrested.
Drunk in Public
An officer was dispatched to Brompton and Cason on a suspicious subject. Officers arrived to find a subject sitting on landscaping stones near the sidewalk. Officers made contact with the subject and determined that the subject was intoxicated. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.
At 4:00 pm, an officer was dispatched to the 6300 block of Westchester in reference to a subject threatening to harm himself. Upon the officer’s arrival and after further investigation, the subject was placed in custody for the offense of assault family violence.
An officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Tennyson in regards to a criminal mischief. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the complainant who stated that an unknown person(s) smashed one of the windows to his vehicle. No witnesses were located during the time of this investigation.
Driving While License Suspended
At 10:42 AM, an officer initiated a traffic stop in the 4300 block of Bissonnet for an expired vehicle inspection. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver had a suspended license. The driver was arrested.
Stolen Cell Phone
An officer was dispatched to the 6700 block of Weslayan in reference to a theft. Upon the officer’s arrival, the victim stated that an unknown person stole her cell phone. The officer gathered the information for the report.
Possession of Marijuana
An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 6700 block of Stella Link on a vehicle without a front license plate. The driver was found to have warrants, a suspended drivers license, and marijuana inside of the vehicle. The driver was arrested.
