West U police pulled over a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Holcombe on May 23, only to find out that the owner of the vehicle was in the car.

The owner’s wife reported the vehicle stolen when the car was missing from a parking garage in Houston.

The owner’s wife had picked up the vehicle from the storage facility and had failed to notify the Houston Police Department that it had been picked up a few days later.

The vehicle was released at the scene and HPD confirmed the recovery.

On May 28, a purse containing women’s clothing and materials was returned to its owner.

On May 28, items were stolen from a vehicle in the 2600 block of Rice.
