Police ask, Did you see this armed robber and not know?

The West University Police Department asks you to jog your memory back to last Sunday (September 25) about 7:30 a.m.
Were you around near the corner of Mercer St. and Tangley?
Did you see a small black pickup truck, loaded with Hispanic men in the bed?
If so, you may be able to help solve an armed robbery.
A resident was out for a morning run when he was cut off by a small black pickup truck around 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning near the corner of Mercer St. and Tangley St.. A Hispanic man with a gun demanded all the resident’s valuables. Then the robber jumped back into the bed of the truck and drove northbound on Mercer.
The bed of the truck was occupied by four or five Hispanic men. There were one or two Hispanic women and a Hispanic man in the cab. The suspects appeared to all be juveniles, ranging in age from 13-17 years old.
After the robbery, the citizen started running back home. At Marlowe St. and College St., he came across two people walking their dogs. He borrowed their phone to call the police. The police took his statement at Marlowe St. and College St.
The victim said, “(The truck) reminded me of the old small Toyota pickup trucks. But it has a loud engine. The first letter in the license plate was “G”, the third letter was “Z”. The second letter was either “H” or “M”.”
