Police Arrest West U Resident For Outstanding Warrants
West University Place Police arrested a 39-year-old West U resident on July 3 for outstanding warrants.
Police arrested Jason Brannen at his home for two outstanding warrants for failure to appear and making an illegal turn.
Brannen posted bond and was released from jail.
On June 28, police arrested a 47-year-old Los Angeles resident for an outstanding warrant.
David Gilmore was arrested by Houston Police Department and transported to West U Police Department for an outstanding capias warrant for speeding. A capias warrant is a warrant where the suspect is found guilty and failed to pay the fine.
Gilmore was released from jail after time served.
On July 1, John Nickerson, a 21-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for five outstanding warrants with West U.
West U Police picked Nickerson up from Harris County Jail for his outstanding warrants.
His warrants were for failure to appear, fail to maintain financial responsibility, no registration, no insurance and no driver’s license.
