Pianist Rob Landes To Play Benefit At First Methodist Houston Westchase
Pianist Rob Landes will play “Music You Love by Request” to benefit Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers-Southwest in a concert at First Methodist Houston Westchase.
The program will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 in the worship center. The church is located at 10570 Westpark Drive at the Sam Houston Tollway.
Landes has been organist and artist in residence at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church since 1996, and has also served St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and St. Philip Presbyterian Church during his career.
Offerings will be accepted by cash or check and a reception with refreshments will follow in the Atrium.
Volunteer Interfaith Caregivers-Southwest is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, and contributions are fully deductible with proper documentation. The caregivers group helps frail, elderly and health-impaired people in the southwest Houston area remain independent, seek health care and preserve their quality of life.
Volunteer drivers average more than 15,000 miles a year and donate more than 2,400 hours to fulfill 875 requests for assistance from care receivers. The organization has been serving seniors in 27 zip codes in southwest Houston and part of Fort Bend County since 1994.
