Officer Gives Drug Suspect a Break

Drug Paraphernalia
At 4:32 am, an officer was traveling southbound in the 6700 block of Buffalo Speedway and observed a vehicle turn from the 3100 block of Holcombe, into the 6800 block of Buffalo Speedway. Prior to completing the turn, the vehicle struck a curb and drove onto the easement. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the driver was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, which was collected for destruction.

Warrant Arrest
At 10:52 am, a police officer was dispatched to 8300 Mykawa to meet with City of Houston jailors, who had in custody a subject, which had a City of West University Place warrant.

At 11:12 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 4000 block of Bellaire in regard to a fraudulent check. Upon arrival, the officer made contact with the complainant who stated on 12/24/13 an unidentified suspect used a fraudulent check to purchase items from within the store.

Warrant Arrest
At 6:27 pm, an officer was dispatched to 1615 S Loop West, to meet with a Pearland officer who had a subject in custody with outstanding warrants out of the City of West University Place. The subject was taken into custody and booked into the West University Place jail without incident.

Burglary of motor vehicle
At 5:39 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Bissonnet for a report of a burglary of a motor vehicle that already occurred. The officer arrived on-scene and met with the victims who stated that at sometime between the hours of 4:50 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. an unknown person(s) broke into their vehicle through the right rear passenger window and items from inside the vehicle had been taken without their effective consent.
