Mover Arrested for Molesting West U Child
A Houston man has been arrested and charged with inappropriately touching and photographing a child while moving her family into a home on Georgetown in West U.
Justin Modesto Summers, a 24-year-old Houston resident, has been charged with indecency with a child and attempted promotion of child pornography.
Summers was employed by “A Better Tripp Moving and Storage” to help a family move into their new West U home when he reportedly touched and photographed a 5-year-old girl.
Summers was seen by the victim’s brother lifting her skirt and taking a picture of her genital area with his cell phone. He also pulled down the girl’s underwear and touched her, according to court documents.
When interviewed by a forensic interviewer, the girl said she was playing a game with her brother when the mover came into her brother’s bedroom and pulled up her skirt, pulled down her underwear, touched her, the report said.
West U police seized Summers’ phone and found two digital recordings of the victim, displaying an “upskirt” viewing of the victim’s genital area. In the videos, the victim is fully clothed, according to court documents.
Det. Anthony Armendariz told InstantNewsWestU.com that police have been investigating Summers since June 7.
Summers was arrested June 19 and is being held in Harris County Jail without bail.
He has a criminal history including burglary of a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana and assault, according to court records.
Detectives are continuing to investigate if there are other victims. Anyone with information regarding Summers should contact the West U Police Department.
