Monday’s Crime: Marijuana, a Missing Package and Stolen Copper

Theft 

At 9:36 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the police station in regard to a theft that already occurred.  The officer made contact with the victim who advised that between 12-10-11 at 2:06 p.m. and 12-11-11 at 7:00 p.m. an unknown person(s) took a package from the front porch of their residence. The officer collected the necessary information and generated an incident report.

Possession of Narcotics 

At 12:43 p.m., an officer observed a silver vehicle traveling east bound in the 4200 block of Bissonnet without a front license and an obstruction on the rear license plate. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1000 block of Mulberry, Bellaire, TX and after further investigation the driver was arrested for possession of marijuana and one outstanding capias SETCIC warrant with the City of Pasadena Police Department.

Theft

At 12:55 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 4000 block of Amherst in reference to a theft of copper that occurred. The victim stated on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. he was at his house that is currently under construction and everything was in place. On December 12, 2011 at 12:45 p.m. when he went to meet with his builder at the property, he noticed copper was missing from the attic. The officer gathered all of the information for the report.

Identity Theft 

At 2:37 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Sunset in regard to an identity theft that already occurred. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the victim who advised that she observed eleven different credit cards opened in her name without her permission on her credit report. The officer collected the necessary information to generate an incident report and the victim was provided a case number.
