Large Landscaping Bricks Used To Shatter Three Windshields In West U.
Bricks were thrown through the glass of two West U. resident’s vehicles last week, one through the windshield and the other through the rear glass. A third resident reported a badly damaged windshield.
The incidents were reported at 6:47 a.m., 7:50 a.m. and 9:32 a.m. Aug. 4. They occurred in the 3500 block of Plumb, the 3700 block of Tangley and the 3700 block of Georgetown. Police say they are most likely related. Large, white landscaping bricks were found inside the cars on Plumb and Tangley. A scent pad was taken from one of the bricks, which can be used if a suspect is found.
There was no brick found near the vehicle with only damage to the windshield.
Police ask that anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious on those streets on Aug. 4 call the police department at 713-668-0330.
