Houston Teenager Arrested For Possession Of Marijuana
An 18-year-old Houston resident was arrested for possession of marijuana on June 16.
Andrew Rector was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police pulled him over in the 4200 block of Judson.
Rector had failed to use his turn signal and made a turn on the wrong side of the road.
When police made contact with him and his three passengers, the officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Rector and one of his passengers admitted to smoking. The officer found drug paraphernalia and a 24 pack of beer in the vehicle.
Rector was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and his three 17-year-old passengers were cited for minor in possession.
On June 19, James Montgomery, a 43-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Police pulled Montgomery over for driving without a front license plate in the 4200 block of Bissonnet at 12:16 a.m.
The officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and Montgomery said he had marijuana under the center console. Montgomery was in possession of .5 grams of marijuana.
He also had a warrant out for his arrest from Harris County Precinct 3 Constable’s office for not wearing a seat belt.
On June 17, Sarah Morgan, a 30-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for public intoxication.
Police found Morgan parked in the middle of the road in the 6600 block of Sewanee at 2:26 a.m. She was asleep on the steering wheel of her Toyota 4Runner.
