Houston Residents Get Arrested For Outstanding West U Warrants
Two Houston residents were arrested on July 19 during a traffic stop in the 3100 block of W. Holcombe.
Sara Sisson, 26, was pulled over for having a headlight out and was found to have two outstanding warrants out of Polk County.
Sisson’s warrants were for a bad check and theft by a check. She was arrested and transported to Harris County Jail.
Her passenger, Steven Hughes, 28, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Hughes was in possession of hydrocodone pills. He was arrested and transported to Harris County Jail.
On July 19, Clevette Tonge, a 30-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for two outstanding warrants with West University Place and six outstanding warrants with Houston.
Tonge had warrants with West U for failure to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
Her warrants with Houston were for speeding, failure to appear, no inspection sticker, no insurance, fail to change address and failure to appear.
Tonge was released to the Houston Police Department.
On July 23, Johnnie McKinney, a 59-year-old Cypress resident, was arrested for outstanding warrants with West University Place.
McKinney’s warrants were for failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license.
McKinney was released after time served and paying the final balance on the warrants.
