Houston Resident Arrested For Warrants After Being Pulled Over On His Scooter
A 32-year-old Houston resident was arrested for outstanding warrants with West University Place and the city of Houston on June 23.
Matthew Phillips was pulled over by Metro PD on his scooter.
During the traffic stop they determined that he had four outstanding West U warrants.
The warrants were for no driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, speeding and failure to appear.
Phillips also had a capias warrant, a warrant where the suspect is found guilty and failed to pay the fine, with West U for no driver’s license.
He also had three outstanding warrants with the city of Houston for no insurance, speeding and no driver’s license.
