Houston Resident Arrested For Lying To Police, Outstanding Warrants
A 54-year-old Houston resident was arrested on July 13 for failure to identify as fugitive and four outstanding warrants with Harris County.
Michael McCray was pulled over at 9:43 a.m. in the 4200 block of Tennyson for expired registration.
During the traffic stop, McCray lied to the officer about who he was and said he didn’t have his wallet or driver’s license on him, police said.
When the officer told McCray that they had their finger identification system with them, he told police who he was.
McCray was arrested for failure to identify as a fugitive and had four outstanding warrants.
The warrants were for expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility, expired driver’s license and an expired inspection, police said.
