Four Car Windows Shattered Saturday Night

July 21, 2008

Windows were shattered on four parked cars Saturday evening, and a witness’s report of a dark-colored SUV is the only lead West U. police have at the moment.

The incidents occurred in the 3100 block of Jarrard, with the rear window shattered, the 6100 block of Belmont, with the rear window shattered and two in the 3000 block of Jarrard, one with the rear window shattered, one with the driver’s side window shattered.

A witness in the 3100 block of Jarrard heard a popping noise around 6 p.m., and looked up to see a dark-colored SUV leaving the area. Nothing was stolen from the vehicles, and police do not know what was used to shatter the windows.
