Fake Repairmen Steal From Kirby Store Employees
Two employees of MyFitFoods were duped last week when fake repairmen gained their trust, but then took off with their purses.
The women called police on Feb. 10 and said that two men came to the store on Kirby Drive and said they were there to repair the roof. The men acted like they were working for a while, and then they left to throw out the trash. The men never returned, and then the employees discovered their purses were missing.
Other incidents reported to police from Feb. 8 to 15 include:
- On Feb. 9, officers responded to a fight between juveniles on Annapolis Court. Police arrested one juvenile and charged the suspect with assault.

- On Feb. 10, officers responded to the 5600 block of Kirby Drive because someone broke into a resident’s car and stole a GPS unit.
