Drayton McLane Earns Ethical Leadership In Action Award

Incarnate Word Academy Counselor Robin Bludau, senior Bianca Leggio, Drayton Mclane Jr., and IWA President, Sister Lauren Beck, C.V.I. at the Ethical Leadership in Action Award ceremony.

Incarnate Word Academy President Lauren Beck, C.V.I, counselor Robin Bludau, senior Bianca Leggio and academy board members recently attended a ceremony in which Drayton McLane Jr., owner of the Astros, was awarded the Ethical Leadership in Action Award.

 

“In hearing Mr. McLane share his story, I was struck by how strongly his Christian values and ethical principles have always guided his decisions that paved his road to success,” said Beck. “It is a wonderful lesson for all of us.”

 

The award was granted through a partnership between the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics at Cameron School of Business and the Greater Houston Partnership. The event was held at Union Station, Minute Maid Park.
