Crooks on Vacation, Crime Light in West U

Burglary of motor vehicle
At 3:10 am, officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of Community in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle, in progress. The reportee was able to give a vehicle description and the direction in which the suspects fled. Officers were able to locate the suspects’ vehicle and after further investigation, the suspects were taken into custody.

Police Information Report
An officer was dispatched to 4101 Emory in reference to an information call. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the caller and found that a fence gate had been pad locked. The pad lock was removed from the gate by a locksmith prior to the officer’s arrival.

Fictitious Driver License
At 2:36 am, an officer was on routine patrol in the 3700 block of Sunset and observed a subject laying face up on a moving vehicle. The welfare was checked on that subject. After further investigation it was discovered the subject was horseplaying and uninjured. When asked for identification, the subject provided the officer a fictitious Texas driver’s license. The subject was arrested and charged with Fictitious DL.
