Recovery of stolen vehicle

An officer was dispatched to a residence located in the 3700 block of Robinhood in regards to an abandoned vehicle. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the reportee who stated she observed that the vehicle was parked in front of her residence on 11/12/2012. The reportee advised she did not know who the vehicle belonged to nor observed anyone enter or exit the vehicle during the time it was parked. Upon further investigation it was discovered that vehicle was stolen out of The City of Houston. HPD was later notified and the vehicle was towed to a storage facility for safe keeping.

Credit Card/Debit Card Abuse

At 1:53 pm, an officer was dispatched to the 2600 block of Quenby, in reference to a credit / debit card abuse call. Upon contact, the victim stated that he lost his debit card and an unknown person was making transactions at different banks without his permission. Information was gathered and a report was generated.

Fraud

An officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Wroxton concerning an incident of fraud that had already occurred. Upon arrival the officer met with the reportee who advised that an unknown person utilized his personal identifying information without his permission and opened an account with a retail store. The officer obtained the available information to complete the report and provided the reportee with the incident number assigned to the case.
