Driving while intoxicated

An officer observed a vehicle traveling in the 2900 block of University Blvd stopping at every intersecting street where there are no stop signs/traffic lights. As the vehicle passed, the officer noticed that the vehicle did not have any license plate lights. The officer initiated a traffic stop and upon further investigation discovered that the operator of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol. The operator was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Driving while intoxicated

At 2:27 am an officer observed a vehicle driving south bound in the 6500 block of Buffalo Speedway with a head light not working. The vehicle also had heavy front end damage with smoke coming from the vehicle. The vehicle came to a stop in the 3100 block of West Holcombe, and after further investigation the driver was later arrested driving while intoxicated.

Driving while intoxicated

At 2:27 am, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Holcombe. While that officer was conducting his investigation, a second vehicle arrived on the scene. That officer requested another unit to assist, for safety purposes, in identifying the driver of the second vehicle. The assisting officer made contact with the driver of that vehicle, and upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver was intoxicated. The driver of the second vehicle was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Criminal mischief

An officer was dispatched to a residence located in the 3000 block of Georgetown in regards to a criminal mischief. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the complainant who stated that she received an email from one her neighbors notifying her that three juvenile boys smashed two of the windows belonging to her residence. The complainant stated that her neighbor witnessed this incident on 04/13/2013, at 4:30 pm.

Driving while intoxicated

At 1:50 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed (45/35 mph) in the 3100 block of Bissonnet. Upon catching up to the vehicle, the vehicle began to make erratic movements, rapidly changing lanes, speeding up, and slowing down on numerous occasions. Upon contact with the driver and through investigation it was discovered the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was subsequently taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

Driving while license suspended

At 2:25 am, an officer, while working stationary traffic enforcement, observed a vehicle traveling westbound in the 4200 block of Bissonnet with an expired registration. A traffic stop was conducted in the 900 block of Mulberry and after further investigation the driver was arrested for the offense of driving while license invalid.

Driving while license suspended

An officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound at 37 mph in a 30 mph speed zone in the 5900 block of Buffalo Speedway. The officer initiated a traffic stop in the 5500 block of Buffalo Speedway on the vehicle. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the driver was driving on a suspended license without insurance had warrants for his arrest due to traffic violations. The driver was arrested and charged with the offense of driving while license invalid.
