Fictitious Registration

At 1:00 pm, an officer observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Nottingham with all four windows in the downward position and the doors unsecured. After further investigation, the person stated the vehicle was his. Subject arrested for the offense of possessing a fictitious registration certificate.


Attempted Auto Theft

At 5:18 pm, an officer was dispatched to the West University Place police department in reference to an attempted auto theft that had already occurred in the 6400 block of West Point. The complainant stated an unknown person(s) damaged his driver’s door lock and damaged the ignition to his van attempting to acquire the vehicle without his consent.
