Burglary Motor Vehicle

At 7:20 A.M. an officer was dispatched to the 3900 block of Swarthmore in regards to a large bag found in a bush between the house and driveway. After further investigation, officer’s discovered the property belonged to a next door neighbor who had his vehicle burglarized. The owner of the burglarized vehicle stated an unknown person(s) entered his vehicle and removed his property without his effective consent. Further investigation discovered several other motor vehicles near the area were rummaged through.

At 8:17 A.M. an officer was dispatched to the 4200 block of Swarthmore in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle which had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person(s) forced entry into her vehicle by breaking the front passenger window and took son’s back pack without permission.

Theft

At 1:14 P.M. an officer was dispatched the 3800 block of University to meet with a victim of a theft that already occurred. The officer met with the victim who stated on March 29, he and his wife discovered numerous pieces of jewelry were missing from their house.

Fraud

At 2:31 P.M. An officer was dispatched to West University Place Police Department in regards to a fraud case. The victim’s paycheck was lost and later found by an actor who deposited it into their own bank account.

Fail to Stop and Give Information

At 4:22 P.M. an officer was dispatched to 3800 University in reference to a failure to stop and give information minor accident which had already occurred. The victim stated an unknown person struck his vehicle and caused damaged to the driver’s side view mirror assembly and the driver of the vehicle did not leave their personal information.

Criminal Mischief

At 7:13 P.M. an officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Albans for a report of criminal mischief that had already occurred. The office arrived on-scene and met victim who advised that an unknown subject(s) had damaged their home window without their effective consent possible using a BB gun at sometime between 7:30 p.m. on 04/19/2013 to 7:13 p.m. on 04/20/2013.

Aggravated Robbery

At 9:05 P.M. officers were dispatched to a robbery in progress at the Radio Shack located in the 5800 block of Kirby. Officers arrived and checked the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them. Officers made contact with the victims who stated that two males entered the store and acted like customers before robbing them, while presenting handguns.

Possession of Marijuana

At 10:01 P.M. officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Villanova for a report of a suspicious vehicle. On arrival, the officers discovered the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of marijuana. The occupants were arrested for possession of marijuana.

Warrant Arrest

At 11:52 A.M. an officer was dispatched to City of Houston jail to pick up a prisoner that had three outstanding warrants with West University Place.
