Crime Report: ‘Aggressive’ Solicitor Arrested on Talbot
At 9: 33 A.M., an officer was dispatched to the 3800 block of Ruskin in reference to an unresponsive person.
At 1:27 P.M., an officer was dispatched to Houston Police Department to pick up a wanted person with West University Place warrants.
Driving While Intoxicated
At 3:00 A.M., an officer stopped a vehicle traveling approximately 5 mph in the 6400 block of Buffalo Speedway with two flat driver side tires that were shredded. The driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWI.
At 11:50 A.M., an officer was dispatched to the 5600 block of Kirby in regards to a theft that just occurred. Upon officer arrival the suspect had already left the scene in a vehicle. The store employees advised a subject walked into the store and removed one clothing item from the store without purchasing it. The suspect was last seen leaving the parking lot northbound in the 5600 block of Kirby. No suspects were located at this time.
At 8:13 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of Talbot in reference to an aggressive solicitor. Officers arrived in the area and located the suspect in the 2600 block of Talbot. The suspect was found to have an open felony warrant in the State of Florida which was not extraditable. The suspect was arrested and booked into the West University PD jail for soliciting without a permit and walking on roadway where sidewalk provided.
At about 9:30 P.M.. an officer was dispatched to the Harris county jail for a suspect in their custody who had several West University Place warrants.
