Council To Meet In Closed Session For City Manager Evaluation
The West U. City Council will hold a special meeting Dec. 8 in closed executive session to evaluate the performance of City Manager Michael Ross and discuss renewing the city’s contract with the law firm of Johnson Radcliffe Petrov & Bobbitt, PLLC.
During the city manager’s review, council will decide if Ross will receive a raise, which he has received every year of his six years as city manager. His current salary is $150,000.
The closed session will take place at 5:45 p.m. in the conference room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Blvd.
The regular council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. During the regular session, members of the Parks Planning Subcommittee will be recognized for their efforts by Mayor Bob Kelly.
