Council To Discuss Employee Benefits During Tonight’s Meeting

During its Monday night special session at 5 p.m., West U City Council will discuss prior non-conforming status and parking.

Council will also discuss regulations with controlled conditions for houses being built with basements or subterranean structures.

Council may decide to approve a resolution allowing the sale and consumption of alcohol at the Recreation Center for the Harris County Mayors and Councils Association meeting on Aug. 19.

During its special session, council may decide to discuss real estate matters, for 3816 University and properties owned by the West University Baptist Church, in a closed session.

The regular session is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.

Employee trust and health benefits will be discussed during the special session as well as during the regular meeting at 6:35 p.m.

The special session and regular session will be held in the council chambers, 3800 University Blvd.
