City of West U Ranked a Top Place to Work
The City of West U has met the national standard of a Top Workplace and was recently featured in The Houston Chronicle’s “Top Workplaces 2011.”
The evaluation for the Top Workplaces is based on feedback from an employee survey. Employees were sent a 24 question survey asking for their opinions in six areas of the workplace including direction, execution, career, conditions, managers and pay and benefits.
The Chronicle also published a Top 100 Houston Workplace list, but West U was just short of being included.
“This is an outstanding achievement for West U and we are really proud to be included on this list,” City Manager Michael Ross said.
More than 200 companies participated in the program and 142 will be recognized as Top Workplaces.
